Obama packed out the Target Center
(home of the Timberwolves) today leading up to the Tuesday caucus.
He hit
hard on the issues of war, education, health insurance, and the
environment. Barack has a plan not only to get us out of Iraq
but to limit our dependence on Middle Eastern oil. So, under Obama, we'll
get out and stay out. Limiting our general use of oil will also limit
carbon emissions and save the environment.
He already succeeded in temporarily increasing light rail ridership by
over 100% (photo right).
His solutions for education and health insurance are not "fairy
tales" but realistic solutions to these vital issues. He mentioned
that the money wasted in the Iraq
war could have been used on attacking these issues, but his main message was
forward-looking, one of hope and change through dialogue with world leaders and
extra work on the part of young Americans.
